Established asset manager VanEck has launched WBMO, an actively managed multi-asset ETF listed on the NYSE, making Bitcoin a standard part of its asset allocation.
The fund is managed by a professional team and targets a 2% allocation to spot Bitcoin ETPs alongside traditional assets such as stocks, bonds, and commodities.
Mainstream multi-asset investment products have typically excluded crypto assets, so traditional investors looking to gain exposure often had to open accounts on other platforms or rebalance manually.
By combining crypto exposure with traditional asset classes in a single publicly traded fund, the ETF gives everyday investors automatic portfolio rebalancing in their core investment account—without requiring them to manage private keys themselves.
