CoinWorld reports that SK Hynix Chief Financial Officer Kim Woo-hyun announced at Wednesday’s earnings presentation that the company plans to return approximately 100 trillion won (about $75.5 billion) to shareholders this year. This will include at least 30 trillion won in cash dividends and at least 60 trillion won in share buybacks and cancellations. He said the current share price does not fully reflect the company’s earnings and cash flow, leaving its valuation undervalued, and that buying back and canceling shares is an effective way to increase value per share.
