CoinWorld reports that several projects in the crypto sector have recently been attacked, as the widespread adoption of AI tools has lowered the barrier to launching attacks. Multiple projects have been affected by third-party dependencies and personnel-related risks. Coinbase had 69,000 users' information leaked by a contractor; a $20 million ransom demand was rejected. Bloom was attacked on October 26, resulting in losses of 9,408 SOL, worth about $947,000, across 49 wallet addresses belonging to nine users. CoinDCX confirmed losses of $15.99 million. An internal operations wallet at Myriad was exploited, but no funds were lost. Dotswap V1 was attacked, losing 8.5 BTC. Ngrave's third-party push notification service was hijacked, causing losses of more than $2.56 million. Keystone's website was breached, and the company plans to destroy 19,000 devices.
