$BNB Yesterday, price was still stuck in the 740 range; today, it has already briefly pushed above the top of that range. I lean bullish: holding above 745 ahead of the rate decision and making a convincing test of 750 would show that buying pressure is far from weak.

OKX spot price is about $745.2, up around 0.9% over the past 24 hours, with a range of roughly $734–754; the 48-hour high and low are about $732–754, and price has briefly broken above yesterday’s 749 range ceiling. The Fear & Greed Index is around 51 (neutral), $BTC still hovering near $80,900, and the Fed rate decision is due tonight, which could amplify short-term volatility.

One fundamental development came due today. The official changelog confirms that the Jenner hard fork will activate on the BSC Chapel testnet on October 29 at 02:30 UTC (around 10:30 a.m. Beijing time), bringing Payment Lane (which reserves about 5% of block gas by default for payment transactions), the CAS20 compliant asset standard, and a millisecond timestamp precompile. On-chain activity is also holding up: DefiLlama shows BNB Chain DeFi TVL at about $5.54 billion, with BSC DEX volume at about $920 million over the past 24 hours.

In the short term, watch whether 740–745 holds. If it can get back above 750 after the rate decision, an upside breakout from the range becomes more likely.

What would you choose: hold through the rate decision tonight and wait for the Jenner catalyst, or wait for a pullback to 740 before buying?

The above is my personal observation only and does not constitute investment advice.
