Midday news | Stablecoin competition is shifting from issuance to distribution.
According to a report by CoinDesk on October 27, Robinhood plans to offer Ripple’s RLUSD to retail users later this year, despite also supporting USDG.
My take: A platform supporting multiple stablecoins shows that competition is about more than reserve size—it’s also about trading access, conversion costs, and payment use cases. This expands the industry’s applications, but it doesn’t directly imply that XRP will rise: a company’s business, stablecoin usage, and value capture by a token are three different things.
What to watch next: The actual launch date, supported networks, liquidity, and redemption terms. Source: CoinDesk RSS, collected at midday on 10/28. #稳定币 #IndustryWatch
