Over the past few days, I’ve been observing more than trading. On WAX in particular, NFT volume has been going up and down, but what’s interesting are the games that keep actively maintaining their communities.
It’s not about short-lived hype, but whether NFTs there are actually used day to day. In some games, the tools or characters are genuinely needed to progress—not just collectibles left sitting around. I think that’s what makes the difference. Speculation is easy, but consistent utility is much harder.
If the ecosystem can strike a balance between the two, WAX still has room to grow. Do you prefer NFTs with a real purpose or pure art?
