🐋 Beyond watching the market, it’s good to understand the basics too: the Lightning Network
Amounts on the Lightning Network can be as small as one-thousandth of a satoshi (a millisatoshi). The protocol’s technical specifications are called BOLTs.
At its core, the Lightning Network moves large numbers of small, frequent payments off-chain. Only opening and closing channels require on-chain transactions, reducing the load on the main chain and saving on fees.
The $BTC circulating on the Lightning Network is still there; most payments just don’t need to be recorded on-chain individually. Currently 80975.25.
It’s okay to play it safe—staying in the game matters more than making a big profit in one go.
