Traditional stock-and-bond portfolios are no longer doing the job. Now, Wall Street asset management giants are starting to add Bitcoin directly to their mainstream asset lists.
According to BlockTempo reports and official announcements, VanEck has listed its multi-asset ETF, “WBMO,” on the NYSE. The fund targets a 2% allocation to Bitcoin, adjustable within a range of 1% to 5%, and gains exposure through spot ETPs. Its total expense ratio is about 0.26%, and it can be traded directly through regular brokerage and retirement accounts.
According to Binance spot market data, BTC is currently trading at $81,094. This marks Bitcoin’s gradual shift from a standalone high-risk bet to a routine allocation source for retirement funds.
The key points to watch next are whether WBMO’s assets under management can exceed $100 million in its first quarter after launch, and whether competitors follow suit with similar allocation-based products.
These are my personal views and do not constitute investment advice.
