$BTC BTC ETF saw fund inflows, while ETH experienced outflows. What are the flows signaling?

Data as of: U.S. spot ETFs through the trading day of October 26, 2026; data updated October 27

In the same crypto market, institutional flows into BTC and ETH are telling different stories!
The latest verifiable data on U.S. spot ETFs shows:
• BTC ETFs: Net inflows of approximately $110.3 million on October 26.
• ETH ETFs: Net outflows of approximately $88.6 million on October 26. BlackRock's ETHA saw net outflows of approximately $104.7 million, while Fidelity's FETH saw net inflows of approximately $16.1 million.

The return of net inflows to BTC ETFs suggests that investor demand improved that day, but a single day's inflows aren't enough to prove that institutions have turned consistently bullish.

ETH is under relatively more pressure. Although some individual products attracted inflows, the overall figure was still a net outflow, indicating divergent demand across funds.

There are two key things to watch next:
First, whether BTC ETFs can see consecutive days of net inflows. If funds continue to flow back in while BTC's price strengthens, the rebound may become more credible.
Second, whether ETH ETFs can reverse their outflows. If prices rebound but funds continue to flow out, be cautious: the rebound may lack sustained buying support.
