Ondo’s official blog says that on October 27, it connected 15 tokenized U.S. stocks and ETFs to Robinhood Chain. Eleven of them, paired with Robinhood Stock Tokens tracking the same assets, entered Uniswap v4 StablePair pools. They can also be bridged over from Ethereum or BNB Chain via Ondo Bridge. ONDO is trading at about $0.422 on CoinGecko spot markets (snapshot taken around 10:03 Beijing time).
The real change comes on weekends. When minting and redemption on Robinhood’s side are paused for the weekend, Ondo can still mint and redeem at current prices. Assets tracking the same underlying can be swapped in the pool, filling the liquidity gap during market closures—not simply adding another chain. Skeptics will focus on whether the pools are deep enough and whether arbitrage can erase weekend price gaps. A launch doesn’t mean trading volume has picked up, much less that the token price will rise.
For now, watch the first two weekends after launch. If StablePair pools remain nearly inactive over the long term, this is just product infrastructure being laid. Only if price gaps are corrected and trading continues through the weekend will that show the market-closure window is actually being used. If the pools see little use after launch, treat this as a progress update, not a new narrative.
