#binancepick Today I opened the app to check #BinancePick, and my heart was racing. The top traders’ portfolios were looking beautifully green, and FOMO had me thinking, “Get in now, or you’ll miss out.” I deposited 500 USDT and used 20x leverage to copy a trader who was ranked in the top 3 for 7-day ROI. That 500 turned into 100 USDT in just two hours this morning. I didn’t set an SL when I entered, thinking that since he was good at managing risk, it would surely be safe. But then BTC dumped from 67,200 to 66,800 in 15 minutes, and my account got completely wiped out by a margin call.

Here are the details: I opened a BTCUSDT Long at 67,150 based on his signal, with a position size of 0.14 BTC (500 USD capital x 20x). No TP, no SL—I just stared at the chart, hoping it would turn around. The result: when the mark price hit 66,750, I was liquidated. I lost all 500 USDT of my actual capital—realized PnL: -100%. My hands were shaking, and I wanted to deposit another 500 USD to “make it back,” but thankfully I remembered my rule: “Don’t trade when you’re emotionally wrecked,” and stopped myself. Guys, copy trading or joining programs like #BinancePick can look really easy, but the risk falls on the people following, not the leader. If the leader loses 1% of their capital, they’re fine; if I follow them into a bad entry with 20x leverage, I lose 100% of mine.

Lesson learned: Never use high leverage (above 5–10x) when copy trading, and always set a hard SL as soon as you enter a trade, even if the leader is ranked number one. Trying to grow a small account quickly with leverage is a shortcut to zero.

Could you guys help me watch this position? 😭 / Have any of you ever been in a situation like this?
