🚨 BTC AHEAD OF FOMC AND THE U.S. ELECTIONS: BREAKOUT OPPORTUNITY OR TRAP BEFORE MAJOR VOLATILITY?

Bitcoin is trading around $80,800. After falling from nearly $84,900 to around $79,200, BTC has recovered. But is this the start of a new rally, or just a bounce before the market continues its correction?

📊 1. What is the chart telling us?

On the 1-hour chart, the price has moved above the EMA20 and EMA50, while the MACD remains positive. Short-term buying momentum is improving.

However, BTC still faces resistance around $81,000–$81,300, near the 1H EMA200. On the 4H chart, the price remains below the EMA50 and EMA200.

In other words, a rebound has emerged, but the medium-term uptrend has not yet been confirmed.

🏦 2. FOMC: a factor that could trigger significant market volatility

The Fed meeting takes place on October 27–28. The market is not only watching to see whether the Fed holds or changes interest rates, but is also paying attention to its message on inflation and its policy outlook for December.

• If the Fed keeps interest rates unchanged and signals a softer stance than expected, BTC could receive support.

• If the Fed stresses that inflation remains persistent and interest rates may stay higher for longer, selling pressure could return.

🇺🇸 3. U.S. midterm elections on November 3

The market will be watching the election results and their impact on economic policy, fiscal policy, and crypto regulation.

However, you should not assume that BTC will definitely rise or fall depending on which party wins. The actual reaction will also depend on expectations already priced in and other economic data.

🎯 4. Three scenarios to watch

🟢 Bullish scenario: BTC breaks above $81,300, holds this level, and continues past $81,700 with strong buying pressure. In that case, $82,600 could become the next level to watch.

🟡 Sideways scenario: BTC fails to break above the $81,000–$81,700 range and continues to trade within a narrow band while awaiting news.

🔴 Bearish scenario: BTC is rejected at resistance and falls below $80,100. If it then loses the $79,200 level, the risk of retesting lower levels will increase.

These are technical levels based on the current chart for reference, not guaranteed predictions.

🛡️ 5. So, what should you do?

For SPOT investors, you can continue holding according to your long-term plan, buy in installments, and keep some cash in reserve.

For FUTURES traders, be especially cautious ahead of major news. Don’t enter a trade just because you see a green or red candle; wait for price confirmation and always define your risk level before trading.

A question for the community:

Do you think BTC will break above $81,700 and start a new rally, or be rejected and return to retest the $79,200 level?
