In the Solana ecosystem, trading access, aggregation, and liquidity each play a different role: access helps people find markets, aggregation reduces the number of steps, and liquidity affects whether trades can be completed smoothly. But a smoother path doesn’t mean users will keep coming back. According to a report by Jinse Finance on October 28, 2026, the U.S. version of the Polymarket app has launched five-minute crypto price prediction markets for BTC, ETH, SOL, and XRP. This adds another entry point to prediction markets; it doesn’t mean a new application has been adopted across the Solana ecosystem, nor does it tell us anything about user retention.
Rolling 24 hours: $SOL +0.28%. Rolling 24 hours: $JUP +1.08%. Rolling 24 hours: $RAY -2.70%. These are changes in the respective spot prices, not evidence of usage, unique users, or market depth. The three assets moved in different directions, so their movements can’t explain one another, let alone support conclusions about the ecosystem as a whole.
What I’d rather ask is: after completing one transaction, why would users come back? Trading volume and address counts can’t be treated as unique user counts, and participation driven by incentives doesn’t mean demand will persist after rewards end. Prediction markets offer a trading entry point, but having more entry points doesn’t mean real usage has been validated. For now, without data on repeat visits or sustained use, it’s more prudent to distinguish activity from retention.
