📈 Capital Is Flowing Back In, but It’s Too Soon to Conclude the Market Has Reversed
$BTC has seen short-term inflows into both the spot and derivatives markets. ETH stands out with buying to cover leveraged positions, while SOL is supported by spot-market demand even as capital continues to flow out of derivatives.
🔹 Bitcoin (BTC)
• 4 hours: $111 million net inflow into spot, and $36.18 million net inflow into derivatives.
• 24 hours: $179 million net inflow into spot, but $92.74 million net outflow from derivatives.
• 30 days: Derivatives have seen net outflows of as much as $7.83 billion.
This shows that short-term buying has returned, but the medium-term deleveraging process is not over yet.
🔹 Ethereum (ETH)
• 4 hours: $51.64 million net inflow into spot, and $221 million net inflow into derivatives.
• 24 hours: $87.02 million net inflow into spot, and $185 million net inflow into derivatives.
• 30 days: $3.77 billion net outflow from spot, and $8.29 billion net outflow from derivatives.
ETH is seeing a stronger short-term recovery in inflows than BTC, particularly in the derivatives market. However, the medium-term capital flow structure remains weak.
🔹 Solana (SOL)
• 4 hours: $8.66 million net inflow into spot, and $4.53 million net inflow into derivatives.
• 24 hours: $23.7 million net inflow into spot, but $58.94 million net outflow from derivatives.
• 30 days: Derivatives have seen total net outflows of $2.17 billion.
Spot-market inflows are absorbing selling pressure, but leveraged traders remain cautious about SOL’s recovery.
