$BTC is back at $81,000, but I’d suggest holding off on chasing it for now.

Today, BTC peaked at $81,300 and is currently hovering around $81,000. It looks pretty strong, but there’s a data point many people may have missed: the $81,000–$82,500 range has an estimated 874,000 BTC in cost-basis holdings.
A lot of people are underwater at these levels. When the price bounces, their first reaction is, “I’m back to break-even—better get out quickly.” So $81,300 has turned from support into resistance.

· Strong resistance above: $81,300. If it can’t break through, this is a false rebound
· Support below: around $79,000. A break below would damage the short-term structure
· In between: watch more, trade less
One more signal: Yesterday, ETFs saw $110 million in net inflows, but almost all of it went into BlackRock’s IBIT. Other products were mostly quiet. The money isn’t spreading out, which suggests institutions are just testing the waters—not returning across the board.

In short: Don’t chase above $81,000. Wait for a pullback toward $79,000 and see whether buyers step in. If it breaks above $82,000 on strong volume, reassess.
