$NEAR LAUNCHES CONFIDENTIAL FUTURES ON ANTHROPIC BEFORE ITS IPO.

NEAR Protocol has introduced perpetual futures linked to Anthropic, the company behind Claude, which is preparing to go public on Nasdaq. The product allows traders to speculate on the company’s valuation before its shares begin trading publicly.

The contract uses the ticker ANT and offers leverage of up to 10x. One of its key features is the privacy of positions, which is intended to limit their public visibility.

The near.com platform developed the instrument with technical assistance from Hyperliquid infrastructure.

The launch comes after Anthropic filed its paperwork for an initial public offering (IPO).

- Its revenue reached US$4.59 billion in 2025 and US$16.29 billion in the first half of 2026, according to information filed by the company.

The appeal lies in the ability to trade on valuation expectations before a traditional listing.

However, these contracts are financial derivatives: they do not confer ownership of Anthropic shares and are cash-settled.

The instrument also carries risks associated with leverage, liquidity, and price differences between platforms. Its availability is subject to regulatory restrictions, including for U.S. residents.

NEAR is thus expanding its offerings to include financial products linked to private companies, as Anthropic prepares to enter the public market.
