Injective launched Injective Options on testnet, introducing fully collateralized call and put options backed by USDC on the Injective network. The initial markets cover SICI, US500, US Tech, gold, silver, and oil; developers can use this infrastructure to create derivatives products and exchanges under their own brands.

A new era of options infrastructure is coming to Injective.
Just one day after launching the Super Intelligence Compute Index ($SICI), Injective is officially unveiling Injective Options, introducing an entirely new financial primitive for developers, institutions and users.
Injective Protocol is a decentralized exchange (DEX) protocol built on the Cosmos SDK that offers advanced cross-chain trading features.
Key features of Injective Protocol:
1. Decentralization: On the Injective platform, users have full control over their funds—third-party intervention is eliminated.
2. Cross-chain trading: Injective supports trading across different blockchains, giving users access to a wide range of tradable assets.
3. High performance: Injective uses the Tendermint consensus system, which provides high throughput and low transaction latency.
4. No gas fees: Users can trade without having to pay gas fees.
INJ is the native token of Injective Protocol. The token is used for protocol governance, staking, and voting on key issues related to protocol upgrades and governance.
