Limits vary by merchant type (small/personal merchants: about 1,700 baht per transaction and 50,000 baht per month; business merchants: up to 100,000 baht per transaction and 500,000 baht per month). Cash withdrawals are not available, and payments cannot be made at high-risk merchants such as gold shops and jewelry stores.
