I checked the market tonight, and the two “social blockchains” have gone in completely opposite directions: TON is at $1.60, up 1.5% this week. It bottomed at $1.44 this month and has bounced more than 10% off the lows. SEI is at $0.052; a month ago it was at $0.079. It’s down 34% over the month and fell another 15% this week, basically hovering at this month’s low. Meanwhile, Bitcoin is down just 5% over the month and is still hovering around $80,000. My take: TON has Telegram’s hundreds of millions of users behind it, so there are buyers when it drops to $1.44. SEI’s pitch is speed, but without a user base to back it up, when the money leaves, there’s no one to catch it. If you had to put $1,000 into just one right now, would you buy the rebound in TON or bet on SEI after its drop of more than 30%? #TON $TON $SEI $BTC
