Achieving true machine speed requires specialized machine surfaces. Speaking on the topic of Agentic Commerce at the @AIconference, Lindsay Walker from @hashgraph provided excellent insight into this technological transition. Walker pointed out that autonomous agents cannot efficiently navigate traditional websites created for human use; instead, they fundamentally depend on information formatted strictly as machine-readable data. To make this seamless interaction possible, the supporting digital infrastructure must possess three essential characteristics: it needs to be incredibly fast, entirely publicly verifiable, and deterministically programmable.
