XRP Eyes Recovery as Whale Holdings Rise and Market Pressure Eases
Open interest in XRP futures on Binance has fallen 28% since September 22, reaching about $445 million, alongside a price decline from $1.57 to $1.30. The reduction in leveraged positions may help lower liquidation risks and create conditions for price stability.
Meanwhile, large wallet holdings have risen to 46.87 billion XRP, equal to 68.48% of the supply tracked by Santiment, the highest level since November 2022. This could indicate accumulation during the pullback, though it does not necessarily confirm continued buying.
The market is watching the $1.30 level as an important support zone, while a breakout above $1.50 could strengthen recovery prospects. On the other hand, a break below support could increase selling pressure, especially if market weakness persists. Whale holdings and the decline in open interest remain indicators to watch, not guarantees of a price increase.
