62 companies on the first list. 26 have already said no.

This is the OKX and ICE platform, where they want to trade tokenized stocks without the consent of the issuers themselves.
The opt-out model: we issue, and you have at least 30 days to object in writing.
An objection blocks the stock.

And they are objecting.
On October 23, there were 22 refusals; in the notice from October 26 — already 26.
The latest on the list are IBM, IonQ, Oracle, and Intel. No public statements, they just pulled out.

As I see it, what is slowing down stock tokenization is not the technology, but the issuers themselves. Blue chips are voting with their feet, and SIFMA is already asking the SEC to require direct consent.

And a small detail from the same notice that didn’t make the headlines: the platform’s SBT contract was audited only internally, there was no external audit. For a stock exchange — well, that’s something.
