Simplismart, an Indian startup, raised $14 million in an all-primary Series B round at a valuation of about $100 million, including the new funding. According to ChainCatcher, citing TechCrunch, Nvidia participated in the round, which was led by Dallas Venture Capital, with Accel, Shastra VC and Micromax also investing. The four-year-old company makes software that sits between AI models and computing infrastructure, automatically adjusting model deployment and management to improve response times and request throughput while reducing computing consumption. Simplismart said its software helped AI video-generation platform InVideo cut GPU service costs by 56%. CEO Amritanshu Jain told TechCrunch that the company’s annualized revenue run rate grew 14-fold over the past six months to an eight-figure amount. The figure is based on recent customer usage rather than contracted recurring revenue and excludes revenue passed through to infrastructure providers. The United States accounts for more than half of Simplismart’s revenue, although the company has more customers in India.
