Gold is currently trading at $4,009.62, down slightly by 0.3%, after trading at $3,999.15 an hour ago. The market is searching for a new balance near the psychological 4000 level.
What Iām watching now: The 4000ā3995 zone represents a psychological and technical support floor. Holding above it could allow a test of 4023ā4035, while a break below 3980 could open the way toward 3960.
Why I read it this way: Gold is stuck in a sideways range ahead of the Fed meeting, pressured by a strong dollar and investor uncertainty. A break above 4035 could shift the outlook toward 4080, while failing to hold 3995 would reinforce the bearish outlook.
