The list of public companies buying Bitcoin has another new entry: added over 6,000 coins in a week, and its balance sheet climbed another notch.

According to reports citing Bitcoin Magazine and SEC disclosures, Strive (ASST) purchased approximately 6,182 bitcoins between October 17 and 23, at an average price of about $82,732 (including fees), for a total of approximately $511.4 million. As of the 23rd, it held approximately 43,000 BTC. During the same period, the company also disclosed an ATM facility allowing it to sell up to approximately $1 billion in SATS preferred stock at its discretion, to fund future Bitcoin purchases and expenses.

How to read this: This is an expansion of its treasury strategy funded by equity financing, not net inflows into spot ETFs. More useful comparisons include its cash position and preferred-stock financing pace, how its average purchase price compares with the current price, and whether its holdings ranking among peer companies continues to rise. For most people, the more practical takeaway is to treat “the company bought more” as one point of reference in the supply-and-demand narrative—not to turn a single week of accumulation into a signal to increase your own holdings.
