According to CoinWorld, major Gulf stock markets rose in early trading on Tuesday. The previous day, senior officials from Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Pakistan met with Iranian officials in Tehran in an effort to ease escalating military tensions. This was the first high-level engagement between Iran and the three countries since they signed a mutual defense agreement in August this year. Saudi Arabia’s benchmark index rose 0.5%, Dubai’s main index gained 0.6%, Qatar’s index climbed 1%, and Abu Dhabi’s index rose 0.3%, with banking stocks leading gains in most markets. Separately, DIP Holding, the owner of a real estate project in Dubai Investment Park, is seeking to raise up to $543 million through an IPO. If successful, it would be the UAE’s first potential IPO of the year.
