🇺🇦🇷🇺 Zelensky’s own former spokesperson thinks he should pack his bags for Moscow
Iuliia Mendel, who spoke for Zelensky from 2019 to 2021, wants him to meet Putin face to face and agree to compromises that could end the war.
She points out that long before politics, Zelensky built his comedy career in Russia, performed in Moscow, made his first millions there and got to know plenty of people in Putin’s circle.
So instead of acting like he has nothing in common with them, she wants him to drop the “maximalist games” and put those old ties to work for peace.
Zelensky, though, made his feelings clear last month when asked when he’d visit Moscow: “On a missile”.
