Let’s talk about DEX aggregators.
Aggregators themselves usually don’t hold liquidity; they simply handle routing, connecting to pools on different DEXs to complete swaps.
One thing that’s easy to overlook: splitting an order also has a cost. Each additional pool you route through uses more gas, and for smaller trades, the price improvement you save may not offset the extra gas.
When comparing quotes, focus on the final amount you’ll receive after fees and gas—not just the exchange rate.
When swapping through an aggregator on Ethereum, pay gas with $ETH ; $1INCH is 1inch’s governance token.

Markets move quickly, so don’t rush to conclusions.
