#akash选定solana为迁移目标

Akash, a decentralized computing-power marketplace, is switching chains.

It’s migrating to Solana.
It originally ran on Cosmos.
This time, it’s drawn to Solana’s settlement speed and developer community.
GPU rental orders need to settle frequently, and slower chains can’t keep up.

Cosmos projects have been leaving in recent years.
The vision of general-purpose appchains has been overtaken by Solana and Ethereum layer 2s.
What remains are sovereign chains and chains built for specific use cases.
Money leaves the ecosystem even faster than people do.

Migration isn’t free.
Token mapping, liquidity pools, and validator incentives all have to be rebuilt.
Existing users have to move their assets over, too.
Anything that goes wrong along the way chips away at trust.

There aren’t many large-scale computing-power projects on Solana.
The first to arrive can stake out a position.

In crypto, applications are flocking to the chains that can attract users.
Loyalty to infrastructure is thinner than a white paper.
The chain with faster settlement and more integration partners is the one that can take in these projects.

Do you think computing-power projects should stay on appchains or move to major public chains? Let’s discuss in the comments.
