Scam Sniffer posted on Twitter that Venom Drainer, a new phishing scam team as a service provider, has created 530 phishing sites targeting more than 170 projects such as Arbitrum, Blur, zkSync, Optimism and MetaMask. It has defrauded 15,000 investors of $27 million, and the first five victims lost $14 million. Its phishing methods include: obtaining the victim's approval through Permit or Approve, transferring ERC20 tokens on the chain; inducing users to sign malicious NFT lists.
