Vietnam has 3 crypto exchanges that have passed a level-4 security assessment
CAEX, SCEX and TCEX are the latest three companies to announce that they have completed a level-4 information system security assessment. This is an important technical requirement as they prepare to take part in Vietnam’s crypto-asset trading pilot program.
However, passing the assessment does not mean the exchanges have been licensed to operate. The companies must still meet other requirements related to capital, personnel, technology and operating procedures, and complete the licensing process in accordance with regulations.
There is currently no official common launch date for the exchanges. When they begin operating will depend on how quickly they complete their applications and on the results of assessments by the competent authorities.
