$ZEC is quietly leading this week's altcoin watchlist — and the structure is worth a look. 👀
📊 Where it stands (27 Oct, morning):
• Price ~$1,222–$1,235, +~2% in the last 24h
• 24h range: $1,176 – $1,268
• +7.6% this week while BTC slipped ~2%
• Grayscale's Zcash ETF drew $41.1M net inflows in the week to 24 Oct — its strongest week since mid-September, after three weeks of outflows
• NU7 network upgrade is targeted for ~5 November
🎯 My setup — long on strength, not chasing:
• Entry zone: $1,210 – $1,240
• Stop-loss: $1,175 (below the 24h low)
• TP1: $1,268 (24h high)
• TP2: $1,411 (breakout target if $1,268 flips to support)
• TP3: $1,500 (near the 30-day high ~$1,530)
✅ Breakout condition: a daily close above $1,268 confirms momentum toward TP2.
❌ Invalidation: a daily close below $1,176 kills the setup — no trade below that.
🧠 My read: ZEC is holding above $1,200 after a real inflow week, not just a tweet pump, and it's testing the $1,234 level while BTC sits flat near $80k. Privacy coins are rotating while majors consolidate — that's the opportunity and the danger at the same time.
⚠️ Main risk: ZEC is still down ~25% over the last 30 days, and one inflow week doesn't make a trend. If BTC rolls over, this setup fails fast. This is a watchlist idea, not financial advice — DYOR.
Would you buy the $1,210–$1,240 zone, or wait for a daily close above $1,268 first — and why?
