The institutional channel has provided another verifiable clue about fund flows: spot Bitcoin ETFs saw approximately $110 million in total net inflows yesterday, almost entirely contributed by a single product.
According to reports by SoSoValue, PANews, good.box and others: on October 26, U.S. Eastern Time, spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded total net inflows of approximately $110 million. On that day, only BlackRock's IBIT recorded net inflows, at approximately $110 million; the other products had zero net inflows or no increase in aggregate. At the time of publication, spot Bitcoin ETFs had total net assets of approximately $102.8 billion and cumulative historical net inflows of around $57.3 billion, while IBIT's cumulative historical net inflows were around $66.2 billion.
How to interpret this: A single day's net inflows don't mean the trend has reversed. It's more useful to compare the direction over multiple consecutive days, changes in shares disclosed by issuers, and whether there have been sharp price swings in the secondary market. For most people, it's more practical to treat ETF flows as a liquidity thermometer, not a buy or sell signal.
