BitMine added 10,452 ETH last week, leaving just one final step toward its 5% target
BitMine (BMNR) continued buying last week, adding 10,452 ETH worth approximately $24 million. Its total holdings rose to 6.0519 million ETH, or 4.95% of the total ETH supply.
It is now just about 55,000 ETH short of its goal of holding 5% of the circulating ETH supply, putting it 99% of the way there. Chairman Tom Lee also stepped up share buybacks, repurchasing 2.04 million shares last week at an average price of $22.48. Buybacks so far this year total approximately $399.6 million. Buying ETH on one hand and its own shares on the other—it’s betting on both.
