One day, I decided to transfer some crypto. A routine transaction I’d done plenty of times before.
I checked everything, confirmed the transfer, and sat back to wait.
Five minutes passed, then ten, then twenty. No confirmations.
You know it can happen, but your thoughts start going elsewhere. What if I got something wrong? What if the money never arrives?
I started refreshing the page practically every ten seconds 😂
In the end, the transfer was successfully confirmed half an hour later. Nothing bad happened, except that I’d put myself through thirty minutes of stress.
Simple lesson: check everything before you send.
