Since gold fell below 4,000, more people have been calling it a “once-in-a-generation buying opportunity”

There’s been a lot of talk about gold on X over the past couple of days.

Some are calling 4,000 a “once-in-a-generation buying opportunity,” only to get an immediate reply: “Try turning the candlestick chart upside down first.” Others were saying “gold never sleeps” in the morning, then switched to calling the drop below 4,000 a technical correction.

There’s no shortage of people talking about buying the dip, but very few are actually willing to go in big. They talk tough, but in reality they’re all waiting for Thursday’s press conference in the early hours. I’m no different—I don’t want to play the hero before then.
