Sweat Wallet ending its existing services does not mean your SWEAT will disappear from the blockchain.

The foundation announced this month that the existing wallet and related services will end on December 30, 2026. SWEAT will remain on NEAR and other chains it has been bridged to. The Sweatcoin Help Center also confirms that the step-counting app Sweatcoin and the crypto wallet are separate products, and that the former will continue operating.

For wallet users, the useful thing to do now is back up your private key and NEAR account ID. Compatible wallets that support private key imports can access the same account; switching how you access the account does not in itself require transferring SWEAT off NEAR. Store your backup securely offline, and don’t share it with anyone.

Don’t assume this applies to all assets: balances on other chains in the wallet need to be handled separately according to the official guide. The foundation recommends that users make preparations by December 18. Further arrangements will be announced in the first week of December.

Be wary of anyone who sends you a private message asking for your private key or claiming they can handle the migration for you. Token prices and liquidity carry risks; this is not investment advice.
