Anthropic publicly files for IPO: Revenue, financing, and cash returns must be viewed separately
As of October 27, 2026, 10:30 a.m. Beijing time, four new facts:
1. Anthropic: Publicly filed its IPO S-1 on October 26, proposing the Nasdaq ticker symbol ANT; the registration is not yet effective, and the offering price and number of shares have not been set. The S-1 shows revenue of $16.286 billion in the first half of 2026, compared with $1.163 billion in the same period last year. 【Evidence A; financing process / historical revenue, Stage 4】Research implications: The verifiability of paid demand has improved, but a filing does not mean funds have been raised, and revenue is not the same as free cash flow to shareholders; the complete financial statements and compute commitments still need to be reviewed.
2. Amkor (AMKR): After the U.S. market closed on October 26, it disclosed third-quarter revenue of approximately $1.991 billion for the quarter ended September 30, a gross margin of 18.3% (up from 14.3% a year earlier), and net income attributable to the parent of approximately $191 million. Operating cash flow for the first three quarters was $868.345 million, while payments for equipment were $1.236806 billion. 【Evidence A; revenue / profit, Stages 4–5】Research implications: Data support an improvement in profitability, but cash investment remains higher than operating cash flow; not all Computing revenue can be attributed to AI.
3. Dallas Fed: Released its manufacturing survey on October 26, based on responses collected from 64 firms between October 13 and 21. The production index fell from 29.5 to 15.8, new orders from 30.7 to 9.3, while raw materials prices rose from 52.2 to 55.3. 【Evidence A; demand / costs, Stage 1】Research implications: Regional demand is still expanding, but at a slower pace, while cost pressures are rising. Diffusion indexes are not year-over-year growth rates and cannot be directly extrapolated to the entire U.S. or to commodity profits.
4. Ripple: Announced corporate treasury orchestration and 24/7 Returns capabilities on October 26; eligible businesses can, subject to program terms, put eligible assets, including RLUSD, to work. 【Evidence A; product announcement, Stages 1–3】Research implications: There are no new figures for asset scale, paid revenue, or net income, so this does not confirm value capture for XRP.
