Came across this on The Defiant: Latin American exchange Bitso has added Bóvedas to its app, embedding on-chain lending directly into its retail offering. Users can transfer $USDC or the peso stablecoin MXNB (Juno/Bitso) into an embedded non-custodial wallet, then deposit into Gauntlet-curated Morpho vaults on Base to earn floating yields.

The key details: according to Bitso, MXNB offers up to about 10% and USDC about 5%. Both rates fluctuate with borrowing demand; Bitso does not guarantee principal or returns. There may also be additional MORPHO rewards. Funds are held in smart contracts, not in Bitso custody, and are not covered by bank deposit insurance. Withdrawals may take time when liquidity is tight. A Morpho-side snapshot showed about $1.59 million in vault assets and a net annualized yield of about 4.63%.

A CEX bringing Morpho vaults into its app follows a path Coinbase has taken before—with Bitso, the peso stablecoin is part of the package too.
