After retreating from above 84,800, Bitcoin has been consolidating near the lows for some time.

The broader downtrend structure remains intact. For now, this pause in the decline should be treated as a consolidation within the downtrend—not as confirmation that the market has bottomed and reversed.
In the short term, price action has been seesawing. Support below is holding for now, but every attempt to move higher has lacked sustained buying, while moving-average resistance overhead remains strong. 80,400 is the first key short-term level: a sustained hold above it would give the rebound room to continue. If support at 79,300 fails, this minor rebound will be over, and the previous low will be tested again.
Choppy markets like this can easily trigger stop-losses in both directions. Until there’s a decisive breakout, blindly buying the dip or chasing prices higher both carry considerable risk.
Do you think Bitcoin can hold support and reverse after this period of consolidation?
