$BTC The Mountain over Earth, with Gen above and Kun below. The mountain presses down on the earth, peeling away layer by layer. The Hexagram of Stripping says not to fight the pressure head-on: wait for a bounce back into resistance before shorting. I won’t chase trades in the middle of the range.

BTC is currently around 80,225, up about 0.4% over the past 24 hours. Yesterday’s high was 80,800 and low was 79,324. It’s moving sideways near 80,000, so I’m neither shorting nor buying the dip in the middle of the range. The October 28 rate decision and month-end options are still ahead this week, so the window hasn’t passed yet. The Hexagram of Stripping remains the backdrop for the Xu month.

I’d rather wait for a bounce into the 80.1–81.4k range and scale into shorts:
Entry: 80,120 / 80,800 / 81,368 (scale in across the range)
Stop loss: 83,200 (with some buffer beyond the structure)
Take profit 1: 79,324
Take profit 2: 78,549
Take profit 3: 77,500
Close half at the first take-profit target and move the stop loss to breakeven. If it doesn’t bounce, I won’t take the trade. If the daily candle closes above 83,200, this plan is invalidated. The next key date is the Start of Winter on November 7.

Everyone, I’ve been nominated for the Newcomer category in the annual Top 100 Creators list. If you have a moment, please vote for me under my profile (you can vote every day)~ There’s a little thank-you gift for everyone who votes.

As it peels away layer by layer, do you think BTC will hit 80.8k first and give you a chance to short, or drop to 79.3k first?
