A quick explanation of one-way and hedge modes:
In one-way mode, if the amount you sell exceeds your existing long position, the excess will become a short position (unless “Reduce Only” is selected).
Hedge mode is often used in strategies that need to keep long and short positions open at the same time—for example, holding a long position for the long term while using a short position to hedge against short-term pullbacks.
In hedge mode, to close a long position, you need to select “Close Long.” If you mistakenly select “Open Short,” you’ll open a new short position, and your existing long position will remain open.
