$ETH has had a 24-hour range of just 2.2% this time (2292 to 2344), with $7.4B in trading volume. The price is practically pinned at 2327, barely moving, so retail traders looking at the chart would find it boring. But I spotted an overlooked signal: over the past few hours, there have been concentrated withdrawals from exchanges in the 2292–2300 range. The individual amounts are small, but the transactions are fragmented—a classic “split withdrawal” tactic. This isn’t a whale moving funds all at once; someone is systematically pulling ETH off centralized exchanges, while on-chain stablecoins are flowing net into a few lending protocols during the same time window. Putting these two things together, my read is that someone is quietly building a position and preparing to use leveraged longs through collateralized borrowing, rather than simply accumulating coins. If this pattern continues for another half day, ETH exchange balances will drop noticeably, and 2327 may turn out to be just a springboard before a jump. The risk, though, is that if withdrawals suddenly stop and stablecoins flow back onto exchanges, that would be a signal in the opposite direction. Let’s wait and see. See you in the comments
