🚨 Guys, I expected a drop, but the coins went up! Here’s the lesson that cost me a lot (and how we can learn from our mistakes) 👇
In my previous analysis of $TAG and $AIN , I expected a sharp drop based on funding indicators and the liquidity map. But the market had other ideas, and both coins surged by insane amounts (+80% for AIN). This isn’t a failure—it’s a powerful lesson we should all learn from. Let’s analyze why this happened. 🕵️‍♂️
🔹 What happened with $TAG ? We saw a negative funding rate (lots of sellers) and expected a drop. But whales used this crowded positioning to suddenly push the price up (a Short Squeeze) and liquidate sellers. The lesson: With speculative coins, don’t fight an uptrend.
🔹 What happened with AIN? We saw a very high RSI (88) and expected a correction. But with small-cap coins, a high RSI doesn’t mean an immediate drop. Open interest (OI) was rising, and liquidity (Liq Map) was higher up. Whales drove the price toward it with force.
Lessons learned: ✅ 1. Stop-losses are lifesavers: Anyone who entered a Short trade based on the analysis and set a strict Stop Loss took a small loss. Those who didn’t had their accounts wiped out. That’s the difference between professional trading and gambling.
✅ 2. Don’t trade against rising open interest (OI): If OI is rising and Supertrend is green, the rally may continue.
✅ 3. The trend is your friend: With small-cap coins (Low Cap), an uptrend can overpower any overbought indicator.
