$APR’s latest drop is making me uneasy. It’s down 21.86% in 24 hours, plunging from $0.04 to around $0.03. It’s now trading at $0.032770, while trading volume has climbed to $178 million. I’m not comfortable with this price-and-volume action—heavy volume on a decline is never a good sign. Why should this signal put you on alert? Think about it: $178 million in trading volume is no small amount for a coin like this. It means a lot of tokens are changing hands. The problem is that the price is moving down, which means sellers are driving it lower. There may be plenty of buyers, but they’re passively placing orders at lower prices to pick up the tokens. This is exactly what high-volatility tokens are most vulnerable to: a high-volume breakdown. They have no fundamental anchor, and once sentiment evaporates, the result can be a stampede to the exits. Today’s low has already touched $0.03, less than 10% below the current price. If that level breaks, there’s nothing but a vacuum below. I’ve seen this kind of price action too many times: on day one, it’s down 20% and you think it’s an opportunity; on day two, it drops another 20% and you start questioning your life choices. A little advice from someone who’s been there. I’ve traded coins like this before. Back then, I saw a similar price and thought, “It’s fallen so much, surely it’s due for a rebound.” I bought in, only to find myself halfway down the mountain. So my stance is clear now: don’t try to catch a falling knife. If you really want to get involved, wait for two conditions. First, the price needs to hold above $0.03 for at least two days without making a new low, while volume clearly contracts—showing that selling pressure is drying up. Second, there needs to be a strong bullish candle on increased volume that pushes the price back above $0.035, confirming that buyers are willing to step in at this level. Don’t make a move unless both conditions are met. And don’t get carried away with your position size: with an asset this volatile, risk no more than 5% of your total portfolio, and set a stop-loss below $0.028. If it breaks, get out—don’t ride it down. At APR’s current price, watching more and trading less is the best move. There’s no limit to how much you can make, but you can lose all your principal. See you in the comments
