Bitcoin is holding above $80,000. But the daily chart is sending a more cautious signal. 📉
BTC is trading around $80,458, and here's what caught my attention on the October 26 Binance chart.
📊 Three moving averages tell an interesting story:
• MA(7): $81,604
• MA(25): $82,757
• MA(99): $75,760
Bitcoin is trading below its 7-day and 25-day moving averages, suggesting short-term momentum remains under pressure.
But there's another side to this setup.
BTC remains above its 99-day moving average, which is near $75,760. The broader trend hasn't broken down simply because short-term momentum has weakened.
Here's what I'm watching next:
🟢 Bullish scenario: BTC reclaims $81,600, then challenges the $82,750 area. Holding above these levels would improve the short-term picture.
🔴 Bearish scenario: BTC loses the $79,350 to $79,400 area, near the recent daily low. That could expose the market to further downside.
My take: I'm not calling a breakout or a breakdown yet. Bitcoin needs to reclaim resistance before I become more confident in a recovery.
The key question isn't whether BTC can touch $81K. It's whether buyers can sustain momentum above it.
What's your view? Is Bitcoin building a base above $80K, or could we see another move lower first?
