Ethereum ICO veteran moves 5,000 ETH after 11 years
On-chain analyst EmberCN reported that an Ethereum ICO participant transferred 5,000 ETH (approximately $11.5 million) after holding it for 11 years.
Of that amount, 1,500 ETH ($3.45 million) was sent to centralized exchanges, though a sale has not yet been confirmed.
The investor initially bought 100,000 ETH at $0.311 each, spending around $31,100 in total. In 2016, they sold half their holdings at roughly 17 times their purchase price, while holding on to the remaining 50,000 ETH until now.
