Foresight News reports that Bobbin Threadbare, founder of the zero-knowledge-proof blockchain Miden, tweeted that the Miden Partner Mainnet is now open to partners and invited users. The Partner Mainnet supports client-side proving, with proofs for most transactions generated in under 3 seconds on mobile devices. Accounts can be protected by a Guardian mechanism, and transaction fees can be paid in the stablecoin USDCx. It supports cross-chain interoperability via bridges including Circle xReserve, AggLayer, NEAR Intents, and Epoch, and features a built-in protocol-level DEX that users can access through the Bread wallet.

Bobbin Threadbare said that the partner mainnet will initially have security restrictions: validators will collect users’ private transaction inputs to verify zero-knowledge proofs, and transaction details will be stored using threshold encryption so that specific transactions can be decrypted in exceptional circumstances, such as a hack. Miden plans to transition to a public mainnet within a few months. At that point, it will switch its hash function from Poseidon2 to a Blake3-based scheme, improve its fee model, and strengthen block-level proofs. It will then gradually decentralize and remove the aforementioned security restrictions.
