Musk said on Sunday that banks have stopped lending to around 200 U.S. cloud-computing companies focused solely on AI, and by next year they’ll either go bust or get acquired. The news hit crypto’s AI sector first: FET is down nearly 30% in a month, TAO is down 21%, and RENDER is down 16%—while Bitcoin fell just 5% over the same period. What’s more, quite a few Bitcoin mining companies have been shifting to AI computing over the past two years. If the AI sector contracts, miners could lose their second source of revenue too. Is this AI-coin sell-off bursting a bubble, or creating a buying opportunity? If you could only keep one, would you choose FET, TAO, or RENDER? Let us know in the comments: #AI $FET $TAO
