They didn't lose money trading. They lost it while doing nothing.

Today, reports say around 48 wallets linked to Bloom trading bot users were drained — about 9,408 $SOL , worth nearly $950,000. The biggest single wallet lost about 1,636 solana, roughly $166,000. Strangely, some dollars sitting in those same wallets were left untouched. The attacker took only Solana.

Bloom says it is investigating and has promised to reimburse affected users — but a promise after a drain is not the same as safety before one.

The lesson is simple: any bot connected to your wallet is a door left open. Keep only small trading funds connected, and keep the rest separate and safe.

Meanwhile, $BTC is holding near $80,300 and $ETH near $2,310, with traders watching the Fed decision on October 28.
